i confess... i was an addict

An article in this month's (LDS) Ensign made me chuckle.

I guess I have Nick to thank for actually subscribing to the print versions again or else I would've never seen it. I usually only get to the articles that LDS.org's feed pushes out and this wasn't included.

Anyway, this particular article talks about growing addiction to MMORPGs and how it's basically causing people to stay in the virtual world more than the 'real' one. I thought it was interesting mainly because I was pretty obsessed about WoW for a while. I still play it, but not as much as before. I definitely saw how it impacted my family time. I was more cranky since I was up late and Nick and I hardly talked. Not good.

Anywho, in honor of Sunday, just thankful for the insightful church leaders who realize and try to touch on the unique circumstances of everyone.
