i'm back! err..kinda.

After a few days of inactivity, I figured that it's about time to post an update.

The past few days had been stressful, and it's not just because of those papers (that I thought were due). Nick had to work at 4am on Monday and 3am on Tuesday. He didn't come home till late at night (basically 18-hour work days). I was so ticked off. That has to be illegal... ugh. I complained to my supervisor about it one time, but he said that's the life of a retailer during inventory time.
*sigh*...
Anyway, because Nick had to work so early, I had to catch the bus to work. That blew. :P The bus comes by our house on an hourly basis, so if I missed it, I'd be late for work by an hour.
The weather was horrible on Monday too; it dropped to barely above freezing at one point, and it rained.

But there is some good news. :)
Nick bought me a router! :D yey! A few days ago, he bought the Stars Wars trilogy and a Tungsten E handheld , so I gave him a guilt-trip. lol. Actually, I just told him to check the specs on the router he had at his store. He went and bought it anyway.

Work's been great. A lot of the employees went out of town to a conference last weekend, so some of us who were left went and wrapped "caution" tape around their cubes as a welcome back surprise.

Then today we had a "working lunch" at IN-N-OUT's grand opening. We were in line for about 30 minutes, but we didn't get our order till 20 minutes later. We were #56 on the 2nd round and they were still serving #62 on the first round (100/round). I'm glad we chose to walk in for our order instead of going through the drive through, since that line was about two blocks long.

Crazy.
