monday night football

After work today, we headed out to the Virg at Harrah's. Nick wanted to check out the the big screens, cheap food, and maybe even the hot chicks(?) hahaha. jk.
Nick ended up winning the "King of the couch", so we hung out on a comfy leather couch right in front of the big-screen and got free food/drinks until the score changed. The Jets and Dolphins played each other so we were there for a while. lol. It was cool though.

While on the couch, I got to know one of the "entertainers" well. She shared her life, dreams, and why she was working at a club. Apparently the pay's really good, and her company gives really good benefits. But she says the work's hard. Everyday she tells herself to be confident and brave, so she won't get affected by rude remarks/actions.

She and her boyfriend of seven years have two kids together and he just proposed to her. So she wants to settle down and buy a house.

It's amazing how knowing how a person is truly inside erases all previous assumptions about them.
