It's kind of funny how such a simple thing like a smile can change one's outlook of the day.

I woke up this morning sort of cranky. Yesterday wasn't the most positive day so I couldn't sleep all night. The person snoring downstairs didn't help either (it's actually funny now). I didn't really want to get out of bed.

It was cold too. So I was dreading the 15 minute walk from the bus station to work.

But it so happens, as I cut across the apartment complex, I passed this cute little old lady in a wheelchair. She flashed me the biggest grin, and I couldn't help but smile back.

I've gone through the same path so many times before and I haven't seen her till now.

Heaven must have known I needed her today. :)
