It looks like we might be moving out of this ordeal soon. I can't believe it's been four weeks already. We've been blessed that it didn't take longer or we'd be really taking a financial hit. (thank goodness for the times we've been socking away savings, plus my boss let me work full time).
The church has been really helpful too. One family brought over boxes of chicken fried steak, hamburgers, and sausages. So guess what we've been living off for most of the past 4 weeks? hahaha. I have to say, they're all really good with rice. And we got to experiment with variations like Loco Moco...
This new opportunity though seems to have quite the potential. It's a small (but definitely growing) company, but since Nick will be the one and only marketing guy, he can really put his experience and b-school theories to the test...
Couple of downsides though:
The kid will definitely miss hanging with his dad.
And I will have to start cooking again. Oh the joys of actually planning a menu. Nick got off easy. :P
