no turning back now

It's official.
I finally told my boss the news and basically said I won't be sticking around past this year.

It's come down to priorities, and I had to make a choice. As much as I enjoy my job, and really want a professional career, at this stage in my life, the right thing to do is to stay home and focus on family.

And I'm glad my boss is very supportive of that. He even gave advice about possible options to balance both - should I decide to do so in 1, 2, 10 years from now...

Now... next hurdle is letting my parents know. *sigh*.

It's one of those days I wish they weren't so adamant that I pursue a working mom life...
