So Stephenie M just got featured in Lifehacker today. With the midnight sun fiasco, even the tech world is trying to dissect her decision on putting the book 'on hold' after it leaked. Sadly enough, lots of people in the original article (not LH's) are blasting her decision (and a lot haven't heard of her - which I find funny, since she's had so many tv interviews... but maybe not enough digg hits??? :D).
It's definitely an interesting discussion point though. Would the ebook version actually push you to purchase the real book. It would for me. I've tried ebooks and I just prefer the real thing over the digital copy. So obviously, if the content is appealing enough, I would go out of my way get the physical copy.
It's one reason why I just can't attach myself to Project Gutenberg even though the wealth on that site is pretty staggering.
In case of Midnight Sun though, no doubt about that, I'd still get it in a heartbeat :).
