Nick signed us up for an Open Water Diving course with a local NAUI training center. We did book work on Tuesday and got to check out the gear (hello expensive).

We just got back from pool training an hour ago. We learned how to prep the gear, breathe with the regulators, how to clear our masks when it's flooded, sink, float, swim with fins...FUN!

I don't like swimming, but I'm loving SCUBA diving! I can't wait until next week when we learn more cool stuff! yay!

It was funny when everyone introduced themselves in class. Practically everyone who signed up for the class said that they visit the Bahamas, Hawaii, Fiji, or some other tropical island at least once a year, and scuba diving there would probably be fun. When it was time for Nick to introduce us, he said the reason he joined was because of the Buy 1 get 1 half off deal on an AM station. We haven't even planned on any scuba diving trips... Simply put, we were the odd couple.
