Yup. It's that time of year again - when we have to file new forms for immigration. Why? Because we need to prove that the marriage wasn't used as a cover to avoid deportation.

Yeah, you know that was the plan all along. I pay Nick a hefty sum to pretend to like me. And when we go on vacations, we go on separate planes! The pictures are digitally altered! When we go out to dinner, we each pay for our own meals! But frankly all I'm really using him for is so I can pop out Filipino-Japanese-American babies who will grow up to be hot Pinoy popstars and make me rich! bwahahahaha!

Marriage is hard enough as it is, and couple that with the complications of living with a stranger -- that I have to 'pay' to be with me?! ech. No thanks.

But I guess a lot of people do it. Why else would immigration require this inconvenience, er, step...
