all i want for christmas

...are my books back!

I used to be such a bookworm. During elementary and highschool years, I had a such passion for the written word. Fantasy was my favorite, but anything for ages 9-12 caught my attention. I actually loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Narnia series before they were converted to movies. :)

Then I went to college and I ended up spending more of my time tackling computers instead. Sure I had college reading, but most of them related to code -- not exactly light materials. :(

So now I'm trying to rebuild the library I grew up with. Why? Because I realized that with books, imagination is endless. The digital world can only capture a view of it. The effects aren't the same.

Now I wish my mom hadn't sold all my books. Tsk. I guess it's a good thing the classics are less than $10 each, or I'd be broke soon!
