unexpected madness

If you hate waiting in line for rides, don't visit Disneyland during holidays, conventions, and sports competitions. But if you do decide to weather it out, you'll have a lot of time to enjoy the cool decors only seen during special occasions. :)

We actually thought it was going to be mellow, but apparently there was a big convention going on. Most of the hotels were fully booked. Though it's not as packed as New Year's Eve (tip: avoid like the plague if you want to get your money's worth).

I scored a free Insider Tour by getting all the hidden mickeys at VMK, so we were able to get fast pass entry to a few rides. And I won more VMK loot! YAY!

Evil Donald: This donald was rude. He actually tried pushing/hitting Nick during this photo.

This donald was awesome. Even though he was already leaving he took the time to take more pics with the kids. He also got the kids on the train to do a donald chant.

California Screamin (rollercoaster): The Disneyride with the loop. I rode it for the first time this weekend. And I hate drops! But this ride was SOOO FUN! So smooth and fast! I actually loved the loop! :)
