So I called my parents earlier and they've voiced their worry on the current economy here. They've been watching Oprah lately and apparently a recent episode highlighting the doom and gloom really freaked them out. Same goes for whenever Yahoo features articles on foreclosures and mass layoffs.
After years of trying to convince me to finish my paperwork so they can move here, now it seems they're having second thoughts. It seems that as they try to actually try to learn more about this country and be aware of its economic movement, they're slowly realizing it's not as cozy and rosy as they originally presumed.
Is the grass always greener on the other side?
