The kid usually has a more explosive personality. He chucks his food, plates, sippy cup if he's done with them. Or even when he's not done with them, like he'll just drop his food to the ground if he has the sudden urge to drink.
Same with toys. He'll just toss 'em aside if he's bored with them at the moment.
But today, after I took his shoes off and had left them by the stairs, he decides to pick up the pair and dropped them into the shoe basket.
Wow. Where did that come from?
