It's now officially Christmas day.
It's been a really crazy week, catching up on Christmas shopping (maxing out a few cards, *sigh*). The one time I visited the mall, it was packed. So after only an hour of shopping, I was ready to call it quits. I was only able to buy one thing, Nick's present. And no, it's not raunchy or anything. I still have to buy him another present though for our anniversary...

Anyway... but I'm glad for the break.

We got Thursday and Friday off from work, so I was able to catch up on sleep on Thursday. Today, I hung out with my friend Lindsay for about 5 hours in the morning and then had dinner with her, her husband, and her in-laws. Nick had to work tonight so he couldn't come. It sort of ticked me off that he had to work Christmas Eve, but at least he gets to come home Christmas day.

We're travelling in a few hours to California. I don't know exactly where we're going yet; but I'm excited to leave and hang out with 'family'.
