As a conservative consumer, I love the wars that companies wage on each other to attract customers.

I just noticed that Yahoo upped the its mail storage to 250 megs (yes, I just barely got upgraded :P), after Hotmail started boosting (free) users' inboxes.

Also, MSN is setting up a beta version of a blogging service - MSN Spaces, hoping to counteract popular blogging sites such as blogger, xanga, and livejournal.
They've set up the beta service first in Japan and is now starting to unroll it here.

Also, MSN messenger 7 beta is out; The features 'oddly' reminded me of Yahoo messenger's existing features. Check out MSN msgr beta and Yahoo msgr.

UPDATE: Some people may have misunderstood my post. I had meant 'conservative' in its base meaning: Tending to conserve; preservative. Maybe I should have used a better word to explain that I'd like to 'conserve/preserve' my paycheck as long as possible. When companies compete, they try to win in price, quality of service, or both. Like any cost-conscious consumer, I'd like to get the most out of my money.
