snow snow snow!

It's been snowing since maybe 5 this morning. The weather forecast says that it won't be clear till next week. I decided to come home early coz the weather was bad down south; up north would have been twice as bad. I came home to about knee-deep snow, and I was wearing 2" boots. I bet we'll get a few more inches of snow tonight. It's been really crazy at the roads by our house. The interstate had to be closed for a few hours. A lot of truckers/travellers are stranded and are staying at the hotel/casino that's a mile from our house.

I'm sure this'll make for an interesting New Year celebration.

Anyway...Christmas was fun. We went down to San Mateo for a few hours and hung out with Nick's extended family. Nick and I spent most of the day by the hors d'oeuvres (mm mm spinach dip). We drove back to Sac that night. Then we left for Reno the next morning. We would've stayed longer but a storm was brewing.

ugh... look at the time! I need to go to bed. I have an early commute tomorrow... Though, there's a 50-50 chance I can't go to work anyway due to bad weather. nite.
