I first saw Mario DDR at the Black Friday sale at Circuit City. It got me intrigued, especially since it's Mario AND DDR.

I had a feeling that there may be something up with Mario DDR when I saw eBay bids going $20-30 past the retail price. It seems there's a rumor going around that the game will be discontinued.

Sad! It's a really fun game. The story mode can usually be finished in less than 2 hours. But to unlock all the available songs, you may need to go through the story twice. Easy was, well, easy. Normal includes the mush mode where you have to step or avoid stepping on certain objects that pop-out on the screen while tackling the arrows. A DDR newbie (I'm one) can usually still pass the normal level even with the mush mode on.

I'm glad my local stores still had copies, especially now that it may not be available anymore. And I'm definitely keeping it (eBay was tempting, but no thanks).
