This particular holiday season has been stressing me out... I'm now officially back in the workforce, but even then, expenses are still mounting (utilities and car insurance rates went up).
We've been thinking about buying a car (for me). But the more I study about car specs (industry reports, safety), insurance ramifications, state registration fees, the more I wish I can just stay carless.
But I can't travel on bus routes forever.
Then Christmas is coming up - shopping galore! Black Friday is in a few hours. I bet some people will be camping out at retailers as early as midnight tonight. Nick's also planning on hitting a few stores at 5am. And I have to come too. *too* *darn* *early*
Then Nick's pc is not booting up...
In other news, we spent thanksgiving here - with just the two of us. On the upside, we have a ton of leftovers. Despite having a basic thanksgiving dinner - ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rice (of course!), crescent rolls, and gravy, it still took me about 3 hours to get everything done. In past thanksgiving dinners with other families, some even go as far as baking multiple types of dessert and other side dishes. Whoa. They're probably in the kitchen 2-3x longer.
All right. It's almost 11...hope everyone had a good thanksgiving...
