Nick's been trying to push me to start working out since... forever. He is such an advocate of the active lifestyle, that he can't stand my sedentary ways. :) So after about 5 years of trying all sorts of motivation tricks, he believes he's found the perfect solution - Dance Dance Revolution. It has the appeal of a video game, but has aerobic benefits :).

Yes, I know DDR has been around for quite some time now. But we've never been quick adopters of video games, considering the cost of new releases.

I actually tried the workout mode today. Whew! I burn only about 12 calories per song, but who goes through just one song on there anyway?

Now maybe I can burn more than my typical 120-cals per day (2 miles of walking to-from bus station and work. :D

Speaking of DDRs, DDR: Mario Mix for the GameCube has me intrigued. It's priced around $50 (game plus pad), but it seems to be sold out in most retail locations. I saw some bids going for as much as $93 (+10 s/h) for it on eBay.
