With Breaking Dawn coming out in *gasp* 11 days, Nick's been getting more and more bombarded by tv/online/print coverage, articles, and ads for the book, the upcoming movie, and so on.

He's well aware that I love the books, and well aware that I'm looking forward to the new book and the movie. He'll proactively tivo twilight coverage for me, but that doesn't stop him from being defensive whenever I reminisce about how he used to be a spontaneous romantic.

"Don't compare me to a fictional character."

What?

We've bantered, debated. He thinks it's unfair: why must he and every other guy out there have to be measured up to a standard that simply is unrealistic in this world?

Then just to annoy the heck out of me, at one point he said, "If Stephenie Meyer wasn't a Mormon, I would've said this guy is not who he seems to be."

He summed it up into, "107 year old vegetarian virgin..."
"Are you sure he doesn't have someone named Philippe lurking around him?"

"You're just jealous."

"No."

"Whatever."

I think he keeps forgetting that's he's the reality.

Besides, Edward belongs to Bella. :)
