Penelope came in the mail today (netflix is awesome). Nick wasn't so stoked, "another chick flick?"

He hasn't heard of it before and was surprised that I even rented it, until I explained, "there's a special sneak peak of Twilight on it."

Ta da. The light dawned.

Then he just shook his head and asked if I was going to brave the crowds on Friday for the midnight release. I'm very very torn. At the very least I want to check out the party, but I don't know if I can stick around all night. The kid doesn't care if you've had 8 hours of sleep or none at all. If he needs you, he NEEDS you, alert or not. hehehe.

Anywho, about the sneak peak. ooof! There's definitely some serious chemistry. The snippets they've shown before of Rob and Kristen do not particularly highlight their connection. Rob impressed me with his subtle expressions (half tortured, half amused). I guess I wouldn't have caught it but Stephenie has painted some vivid images of their expressions. This movie is definitely looking promising...

UPDATE: Penelope was quite good! :)
