Y.M.C.A. ... It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.

Reno has been abuzz with excitement the past week due to Hot August Nights. Grabe. You cannot find a single parking spot in downtown. It doesn't help either that major construction is going on at the same time.
We checked out the party at the Hilton, where the Village People were performing for free. Parking was a pain too; Nick almost got into a fight with this guy in a Porsche, because he said we took his "spot." :P
The performance was pretty cool though. We got there pretty late so we got stuck at the back. They still have their "groove" even after all these years, not afraid to shake their booties at the audience. lol.
Their last song of the night, was of course, their most popular hit, YMCA. I didn't realize that most of the public can't do the moves right. The M wasn't represented as the golden arches of McDonalds. The hands are curved in an M at the front of the chest.

I've been getting homesick recently. I've been craving anything Filipino. I've been listening to Phibi.com most of my waking hours (until Nick gets home anyway...). *sigh* ...
