Three hours after my interview (3pm), Shanin (recuiter) called me with the great news. I aced the interview! :) Wow. I was so overwhelmed. I mean, I felt good about the interview, but I wasn't expecting a response this quickly.
Anyway, I come in tomorrow to do some paperwork, most likely tax information.
I'm glad I found out asap though, the girl I'm replacing is leaving Friday, and I suggested that it's better for me to start while she's here so I can shadow her.
Based on my past job, I know how frustrated customers can get when they realize that the new person is clueless.
The software I will be using, checking for bugs, and supporting is hardly out in the market yet. So no real resources. But I'll be designing and developing systems as well, doing web development, and doing lots and lots of documentation.
There's definitely a lot of learning to do! I'm excited!
