Shopping was not on my to-do list today. I was just going to exchange my cable modem, then come back home. But since I had an hour until the bus came, I decided to hang out at the mall.
Guess what greeted me two seconds into the mall?
HUGE signs that said, "One day only sale. 20-60% off on hundreds of items. Purchase between 7am-1pm and SAVE even more!"
I got sucked in, badly.
People who know me well, know that I am definitely not a shopper. I'm in a store three hours, and can't even purchase a single item. But today, at this store, within an hour, I bought five items. But no, the shopping didn't end there...
After I exchanged my modem, I went back to the same exact store and bought four more things in less than an hour!
Ugh.
I spent about $115 in two hours. To console myself, I repeat over and over, "But I saved about $126! That's good, right?.. And clothes are an investment!.. And that bag is just PERFECT for my stuff. It's an early birthday present to me!"
I hope Nick won't flip when he finds out...
:-o
shhhhh...

UPDATE: Hey, thanks for the feedback.
Lol. it IS a girl thing, but Nick is a tightwad.
I felt bad coz the night before, we went shopping at this bargain store in Sparks. Nick got shirts priced at .69, .99, etc. The most he spent on a shirt was 3.99. And then here I go, spending $15 on just one. :p
But it went well. I emphasized the savings, and the benefits for him. I don't have to look so cruddy, but look like a "lady." :) Ah. Girl charm.
