Nick and I live in the northwest part of Reno. The area is really new, our apartments only about four years old. I actually liked the place from the start. I'm a sucker for stone countertops, and the included washer and dryer was a plus on my list! Nick wanted a basketball court and a nice gym, but he didn't even go to the ones in our old apartment. Eh. Anyway, the size is quite comfy for me; some people may complain about the alloted 665 sq. ft., but I'm happy.

As you can see, there's nothing in our dining room. And there's no need for it. Nick doesn't eat at the table; he likes to sprawl in front of the TV while he eats. As you can also see, I have a stepping stool so I can reach the high cupboards in the kitchen. (no point hiding the fact that I'm too short for life here.)

Hehe, we don't have a couch either, coz we don't really have visitors. It's definitely an asian house, with a low japanese table, where we eat. We just sit on the bean bag, or on pillows. Miko has his own corner by the tree. The tables we bought at the salvation army. They looked beat up at first, but I stained them with a nice special walnut finish.

We pay $10 extra per month for staying at the top floor, because we get the vaulted ceilings. The decorations you see hanging at our patio, we bought at the Wow Philippines craft fair in Manila. By the way, most apartments in Reno have patios included.
