"Developers at the open-source Mozilla Foundation have confirmed that the latest version of their Web browsers have a security flaw that could allow attackers to run existing programs on the Windows XP operating system."

I learned about this last night. I got really bummed out because Mozilla's my ideal browser. I use Mozilla Suite 1.7. It's really stripped down, but you can download cool add-ons. I first fell in love with Mozilla when I heard about tabbed browsing (v1.4). It makes web surfing so easy!
Look! Easy switching between six different sites!

The patching process was quick and painless. One just needs to download a script that changes the network.protocol-handler.external.shell setting to false. But you can also download Mozilla 1.7.1 which has the included patch.
